Jennifer Bernard (she/her)

I have a passion for caring for newborns and families. Welcoming a new baby into the family is a big change. I can offer support, guidance, and encouragement on this new journey. This is heart work and I see every day as a new day that will bring joy, happiness, struggles, and challenges. All of which are celebrated as you grow as parents. I will be a gentle guiding hand when needed, and cheer you on as your confidence grows as a new parent.

I have decades of experience as I started my career as a teenager babysitting children in my neighborhood. I was a Mother’s Helper in high school and started taking Early Childhood Education classes in college. I fell in love with taking care of children and families. I have worked with many families welcoming their second child as a nanny and still more families welcoming their first child as a postpartum doula. I have worked with birthing parents as well as those adopting through surrogacy. I see each family as unique with their own beauty.

Jennifer was tremendously helpful to us as a night doula when we welcomed our second child into the world. As we navigated the world of 2 under 2, we really wanted to prioritize sleep so that both of us could tackle the needs of our littles during the day, and Jennifer helped us achieve that goal. We could sleep well knowing our newborn was in good hands, getting the care she needed overnight.
