Portland Maternity Photographer
Your story is unique. Let’s tell it that way.
Maternity photography for the wild at heart
This is the time you grew a whole new human with your body… let’s get out there and celebrate it! We’ll head outside and take advantage of the stunning backdrops of the Pacific Northwest and find the best light to capture your glow.
We’ll laugh, we’ll have fun, you’ll share your story, and we’ll guide you through flattering poses that show off just how beautiful you are. Your maternity photography session can be a solo experience or can include your partner, other children, and even your pets if you like.
Your maternity photoshoot
Your maternity photoshoot might take place anytime between 28 and 36 weeks — every body is different! When we schedule your session will depend on what stage of your bump you are feeling most excited to capture. Each of our maternity photography packages includes a 30 minute phone session to get to know each other a bit, discuss location options, and chat about styling questions, but we can keep the discussion to email if you’d prefer. There are only a limited number of sessions available each week so be sure to get yours on our schedule as soon as possible.
After your session, we’ll provide you with a beautifully-curated selection of images to choose from. The maternity photographs that you receive from your session are fully edited and shared in high resolution so you’re able to print and display your photos in your home, in album, and share with friends and family. If you decide you’d like more images than are included in our standard package, you can upgrade package at any time.

Meet Elizabeth, your Portland maternity photographer
When my dad gave me my first point-and-shoot film camera for my 8th grade graduation, a door opened that allowed me to see, experience, and interpret the world in inspiring new ways. It helped fuel my fascination with the stories that make us human -- the complicated, difficult, redemptive, staggeringly beautiful experiences that make up and shape our lives, and with how those stories connect us. It gave me a literal lens through which to explore humanity: what motivates us, fills us up, what breaks us, and what lifts us up again. My photography has connected me to the importance of community, and a conviction that strong communities nurture resilience in the face of struggle. With these interests at heart, my work as a photographer is documentary in nature, seeking to explore and capture the stories of our lives as they are -- even if it’s messy, and even when we’re working on a half-posed portrait session. I look for connection, longing, laughter, and the small details: whatever is most real for you that day, or in a fleeting moment. I want to learn and help you tell your story.
I think all pregnant bodies are beautiful, and that growing a human is one of the most incredible things a person can do in their life. I believe in celebrating and remembering the transformative time before you meet your baby and find out who they are. I know that labor and birth are intense, sacred, and powerful, and that few times in our lives are more life-changing and worthy of being remembered.
